Syfy UK Acquires ‘Stormageddon’, ‘The X-Files: I Want To Believe’ & ‘Scavengers’

Syfy UK is adding three films to their line-up for November. The NBCU backed broadcaster has acquired the UK broadcast rights to disaster movie Stormageddon, sci-fi feature film Scavengers and the second The X-Files feature film I Want To Believe after agreeing deals with a number of distributors. Stormageddon and Scavengers have never aired on UK television before, while The X-Files: I Want To Believe has aired numerous times on Sky Movies and Channel 4.

Man DownChannel 4 has renewed their comedy series Man Down, created by and starring Greg Davies, for a third season TVWise has learned. Six episodes have been ordered for the show's third season, which is expected to air in 2016.

Netflix UK Picks Up Exclusive Rights To MTV’s ‘Scream’, Sets October Premiere

ScreamNetflix UK has acquired the exclusive UK streaming rights to MTV's hour-long drama Scream, which is a sequel to the popular feature film series, TVWise has confirmed. The show's 10 episode first season will be available to stream for Netflix UK subscribers from Thursday October 1st.

Esquire Network Takes U.S. Rights To ITV’s ‘Beowulf’
