Robert Emms Joins ‘The Living And The Dead’, Anthony Horowitz’s BBC Series ‘New Blood’ Adds Danny Kirrane
Capital and Atlantis star Robert Emms has joined the cast of BBC One's supernatural thriller series The Living And The Dead in a recurring role; while Critical star Danny Kirrane has landed a guest starring role on Anthony Horowitz's new BBC One cop drama New Blood. 
BBC One has unveiled a new 30 second teaser trailer for the upcoming Victorian-era Sherlock special, which is set to premiere on New Year's Day (Friday January 1st). 
BBC One's new three part drama Capital will premiere on Tuesday November 24th at 9pm, it has been announced.
ITV has set the core cast for Marcella. Anna Friel, who most recently starred in NBC's thriller series American Odyssey (pictured), has been tapped to play the lead in the eight episode cop drama from Broen (AKA The Bridge) creator Hans Rosenfeld, TVWise has learned. Jamie Bamber (The Smoke) and Laura Carmichael (Downton Abbey) have also been cast.
After months of rumours, Amazon today confirmed that they have handed out a ten episode series order to Sneaky Pete, the drama starring Giovanni Ribisi (Avatar) which was created by Breaking Bad alum Bryan Cranston and House showrunner David Shore. The series will stream on Amazon Prime Instant Video in the US, the UK an Germany in 2016. 
BBC One has given the greenlight to In The Dark, a four-part TV series based on Mark Billingham's series of novels featuring police officer Helen Weeks, TVWise has learned.
