Sky One Renews ‘Breeders’ For Third Season

Sky One has renewed their Martin Freeman and Daisy Haggard fronted parenting comedy series for a third season. Ten episodes have been commissioned for season three, which is expected to air in 2022. FX is once again co-producing for the United States.

Jill Halfpenny & Owen McDonnell Set As Leads In Channel 5’s ‘The Holiday’

Jill Halfpenny (The Drowning, Liar) and Owen McDonnell (Killing Eve, The Bay) have been set as the leads in The Holiday, Channel 5's four-part adaptation of the T.M. Logan novel. Rounding out the cast is Aidan McArdle (The Trial Of Christine Keeler, The Mallorca Files), Liv Mjönes (Midsommar, The Lawyer), Siobhan Hewlett (McDonald & Dodds, The Syndicate), Andrew Macklin (Doctor Who, Fair City) and Cat Simmons (Holby City, Moving On).

BBC Studios Strikes Global Deal With Disney For ‘Bluey’ Season 3

BBC Studios has struck a deal with Disney that will see the House of Mouse premiere the third season of Bluey on Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney+ in all territories excluding Australia, New Zealand and China. The series also airs in the UK on CBeebies, where it has been a ratings hit.

UKTV’s Alibi Channel Acquires UK Rights To ‘Whiskey Cavalier’, The Good Wife’ & ‘Deception’

Whiskey Cavalier is crossing the pond. UKTV's Alibi channel has acquired the UK rights to ABC's short-lived drama series after striking a deal with international distributor Warner Bros. International Television Distribution. Alibi has yet to set a specific date, but it is expected to premiere in July. Additionally, Alibi has also acquired both The Good Wife and Deception for their July schedule. The Good Wife initially aired in the UK on More4 while Deception has never aired on this side of the pond before.
