Syfy UK has closed a deal with sister company NBCUniversal International Distribution to acquire the exclusive UK rights to Killjoys, TVWise has learned. Additionally, in a separate deal with CBS Studios International, the NBCU owned channel has also picked up the UK linear rights to the second and final season of Extant. UKTV To Launch Drama, Really & Yesterday On Freesat
UKTV is bringing three of their channels to Freesat. The commercial network, which is a joint venture between BBC Worldwide and Scripps Networks Interactive, has struck a deal with Freesat which will see Drama, Really and Yesterday launch on the subscription-free satellite TV service, TVWise has learned.
