Channel 4 Orders One-Off Film ‘The Disabled Dangerous Sports Club’
Channel 4 has ordered The Disabled Dangerous Sports Club, a one-off film that follows a group of people with disabilities determined to push themselves to the limit, TVWise has learned. The Disabled Dangerous Sports Club follows four disabled people, led by Bazza (AKA The Chair Devil), as they tackle some of the more adrenaline fueled sports now open to disabled people, such as Bungee jumping, sky diving and waterskiing. 
BBC One has given the green-light to Three Girls, a three-part drama about the Rochdale abuse scandal, TVWise has learned. Three Girls is based on the experiences of the girls who were groomed in Rochdale in the five years between 2008 and 2012, for which nine men were convicted and sentenced. The drama explores how these girls were groomed, how they were ignored by the authorities directly responsible for protecting them, and how they eventually made themselves heard.
Some two months after The Guardian announced that they would no longer be producing TV review show Telly Addict, critic and host Andrew Collins has brought the format to UKTV. The multi-channel broadcaster will now produce ten minute episodes of Telly Addict, which will be made available on their YouTube channel.

ITV has given the green-light to Tina & Bobby, a three-part Tina and Bobby Moore drama from EastEnders scribe Lauren Klee and ITV Studios, TVWise has learned. Michelle Keegan (Ordinary Lies) plays Tina, while Lorne MacFadyen (Granchester) has been cast as Bobby.
The third season of Starz's original drama series Power will premiere on Netflix UK on Monday July 18th, it has been announced. New episodes will then continue to be made available to Netflix UK subscribers every Monday, less than 24 hours after they air on premium cable network Starz in the United States.
