Netflix Sets November Premiere For ‘Gilmore Girls’ Revival, Releases First Trailer
During the show's panel at the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour, Netflix announced the global premiere date and released the first trailer for their Gilmore Girls revival series, known as A Year In The Life. 
ITV is adding to their factual entertainment slate. The commercial broadcaster has handed out a six episode series order to fact-ent format Celebrity Home Secrets, which hails from ITV Studios indie So Television and Sunnyside Productions, and will feature, amongst others, Janet Street-Porter and Duncan Bannatyne. 
ITV has commissioned sister company Potato to produce Devon And Cornwall Blues, a three-episode prime-time factual series following the activities of the Devon and Cornwall Police, TVWise has learned.
Independent distributor DCD Rights has hired Passion Distribution executive Phillipa Chuter as Senior Acquisitions Executive, in anticipation of a factual acquisitions push. Chuter will report directly to DCD's Head of Acquisitions Pilar Perez. 
Sky is adding to the executive ranks of their comedy team with the hire of Tilusha Ghelani as Commissioning Editor. Ghelani joins the satcaster from the BBC, where she has been serving as Assistant Comedy Commissioner since February 2015.
