Channel 4 Cancels ‘Raised By Wolves’ After Two Seasons

Channel 4 has cancelled their comedy series Raised By Wolves - from Caitlin Moran, Caz Moran and Big Talk Productions - after two seasons, TVWise has confirmed. Given the warm critical reception, healthy audience figures and the fact that the series has been a passion project for the Moran sisters, Big Talk and Caitlin Moran are not throwing in the towel just yet. On the show's official social media pages, Caitlin has kicked off a campaign in the hopes of finding another broadcaster who will commission a third season.

‘True Blood’ Star Stephen Moyer Replaces Christopher Eccleston As Lead In ITV’s ‘Safe House’

ITV has tapped True Blood star Stephen Moyer for the lead role in the second season of their event drama Safe House, TVWise has learned. He replaces Doctor Who star Christopher Eccleston, who led the cast in season one. Originally Eccleston and the core cast from season one had been set to return, but after he pulled out in June, the second season was re-conceived with the setting of the series being shifted from the Lake District to Wales.

Syfy UK Acquires Gale Anne Hurd’s Alien Terrorism Drama ‘Hunters’, Sets August Premiere

In a deal with sister company NBCUniversal International Distribution, Syfy UK has snapped up the first run rights to Hunters - the short-lived drama series from The Walking Dead executive producer Gale Anne Hurd. The series will premiere on Syfy UK on Wednesday August 31st at 9pm.
