Sky1 Renews ‘A League Of Their Own’ For Three More Seasons, Picks Up Second ‘US Road Trip’
In a wide ranging deal with CPL Productions, Sky1 has renewed A League Of Their Own for three more seasons, through to season fourteen; and picked up companion series A League Of Their Own: US Road Trip for a second season. 
Nigel Farage Gets His Life Back, a half-hour scripted comedy about the outgoing UKIP leader from Endemol Shine's Zeppotron, has landed at BBC Two, TVWise has learned. The one-off will star Kevin Bishop (Porridge, We’re Doomed! The Dad’s Army Story) as Farage.
BBC One has given the green-light to Trust Me, a four-part medical themed drama set in Edinburgh which hails from Dan Sefton and Red Production Company, TVWise has learned.
Channel 4 has given the green-light to Derry Girls, a six episode comedy series set in the 1990s in Derry, Northern Ireland in the run up to the ceasefire. The series explores the lives of ordinary people living under the spectre of the Troubles, all seen through the eyes of a local teenager.
After months of rumours, BBC One has officially pulled the trigger and renewed their hit comedy series Not Going Out for an eighth season. With the renewal, the series continues to be the BBC's longest running sitcom currently on-air.

BBC One is re-teaming with Line Of Duty creator Jed Mercurio for The Bodyguard, a six episode thriller which focusses on the Royalty and Specialist Protection Branch of the Metropolitan Police Service's Protection Command (US readers, think the UK's version of the U.S. Secret Service).
