Sky1's Relic Hunter-like action series Hooten & The Lady, starring Michael Landes (CSI) and Ophelia Lovibond (Elementary), will premiere on Friday September 16th at 9pm, it has been announced.

Stranger Things (1)Netflix has renewed their breakout original series Stranger Things for a second season, the streaming service announced on Wednesday. Nine episodes have been ordered for season two, which is set in 1984 and will premiere globally in 2017.

E! UK Acquires ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’

The Tonight ShowE! UK has taken the rights to the NBC late night talker The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon after striking a deal with sister company NBCUniversal International Distribution, TVWise has learned. The NBCU owned channel plans to fast-track the series and will air episodes within 24 hours of the US broadcast. The premiere is set for Tuesday November 15th at 10pm, with new episodes airing Tuesday through Saturday in the same time-slot.

Eleanor Catton To Adapt Her Novel ‘The Luminaries’ As TV Series For BBC Two

BBC TwoEleanor Catton has signed on to adapt her Man Booker Prize winning novel The Luminaries as a television series for BBC Two, who have picked up the project with a six episode straight-to-series order, TVWise has learned. The drama series is set to be officially announced by BBC Two Channel Editor Patrick Holland during his Meet The Controller session at the Edinburgh International Television Festival on Friday.
