FOX UK Acquires Donald Glover’s FX Comedy Series ‘Atlanta’

Donald Glover's new comedy series has found a UK home. FOX has acquired the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to the former Community star's FX series Atlanta after striking a deal with sister company Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution, TVWise has learned. The ten episode first season of Atlanta is set to premiere on FOX UK in November.

Channel 4 Orders ‘The Crystal Maze’ Special, Stephen Merchant Set As Host

Stephen MerchantAfter rumours about the project reached a fever pitch yesterday, Channel 4 has confirmed that they are bringing The Crystal Maze back to TV in the form of a one-off special for Stand Up To Cancer. Contrary to said rumours, however, David Tennant is not involved; with Stephen Merchant having been set as host. He follows in the footsteps of Richard O’Brien and Ed Tudor-Pole, who previously hosted the format in the 1990s.

Sky Atlantic Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘Aquarius’ Season 2

Aquarius S2The second season of NBC's David Duchovny fronted drama series Aquarius will receive its UK premiere on Sky Atlantic on Friday September 16th at 9pm with a double-bill, it has been announced. In addition to airing the show's second season in double-bills in a regular Friday night time-slot, Sky is also making the entire season available via Sky Box Sets from September 16th.
