BBC Loses ‘The Great British Bake Off’ As Negotiations Break Down
The BBC has lost the rights to The Great British Bake Off after lengthy negotiations with indie Love Productions broke down, TVWise has confirmed. While there has been talk all year of a bidding war to poach the show from the BBC, sources insist that there is no impending deal, as there have been no formal talks with any broadcasters other than the Beeb.

NBCU’s SVOD Service Hayu To Launch On Apple TV, Adds Offline Viewing
Hayu is expanding its reach after NBCUniversal International agreed a deal to launch the subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) service on Apple TV in Q4 2016. Additionally, around the same time it launches on Apple TV, Hayu will also be adding an offline viewing functionality, allowing subscribers to download episodes to view later. David Suchet (Agatha Christie's Poirot) has signed on as the narrator for BBC One's Peter Pan Goes Wrong, a special adaptation of the theatre production from Mischief Theatre which is set to air this Christmas. Suchet, who is coming off of a starring role in BBC Two's Decline And Fall, will appear on-screen as the narrator who finds himself caught up in the mayhem. The Level is set in Brighton and follows Detective Sergeant Nancy Devlin, who has a secret double life. Her exemplary police career masks a covert attachment to shady businessman and drugs trafficker, Frank Le Saux. BBC Two Releases New Teaser Images For ‘The Fall’ Season 3
After previously releasing two teaser shots, BBC Two has released three new teaser images from the upcoming third and final season of psychological thriller The Fall, which is set to premiere later this month. These new images, which were released ahead of a screening of the season three premiere episode at BFI tonight, show Jamie Dornan and Gillian Anderson in character as Paul Spector and Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson. One such image shows Gibson and the reflected image of Spector in a hospital room.
