ABC's LGBT rights miniseries 'When We Rise', from Oscar winner Dustin Lance Black, is closing in on a UK deal. Additionally, TVWise has identified two new shows from next season that are being eyed for UK pickups: The Looming Tower, a ten episode drama series about the road to 9/11 that was recently commissioned by streaming service Hulu; and Law & Order: True Crime, the latest entry in NBC's long-running Law & Order franchise.

ITV Renews ‘Unforgotten’ For Third Season

ITV has renewed their cold case thriller series Unforgotten for a third season. Six episodes have been ordered for the show's third season, which is set to enter production later this year for a 2017 premiere.

Virgin Media Adds Bravo’s ‘Imposters’ As Exclusive Boxset

Virgin Media is continuing their push into first run U.S. content. The company has sealed a deal with NBCUniversal International Distribution to acquire the exclusive rights to Bravo's scripted comedy drama series Imposters, TVWise has learned. The first four episodes from the show's first season are now available on-demand on Virgin TV, with new episodes being made available every week shortly after they initially air on Bravo in the United States.

More4 Acquires UK Rights To ‘The Good Wife’ Spin-Off ‘The Good Fight’

The Good Fight is coming to the UK. Channel 4's digi-net More4 has closed a deal with CBS Studios International to acquire the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to The Good Wife spin-off, TVWise has learned. The series is set to premiere on More4 this Spring.

E4 Picks Up UK Rights To ABC’s Tim Allen Comedy Series ‘Last Man Standing’

After some two years, Last Man Standing has landed at a new UK broadcaster. E4 has secured the UK rights to ABC's Tim Allen fronted comedy series after striking a deal with international distributor Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution, TVWise has learned. The show's first season will premiere on the channel on Monday March 13th at 4pm with a double-bill. Episodes will then continue to air daily in that same time-slot.
