‘Prison Break’ Revival Opens Strong For FOX UK

FOX UK's latest high-profile import got off to a strong start last night. The Prison Break revival (AKA season five) launched on the Fox Networks Group owned and operated channel in its regular 9pm time slot with an overnight audience of 291K viewers and a 1.3% share. As a result of the show's performance, FOX UK ranked as the highest rating Pay Entertainment channel in the 9pm slot last night

‘Nashville’ Renewed For Sixth Season

Former ABC drama Nashville has been picked up for a sixth season at its new U.S. network CMT, TVWise has learned. The show's sixth season - its second on CMT - will consist of 16 episodes. CMT originally picked up the show for a 22 episode fifth season in June 2016, after prolonged talks between the network, ABC Studios, Lionsgate Television and U.S. SVOD partner Hulu to resurrect the music industry drama following ABC's decision to axe it several week prior.
