TV Legend Sir Bruce Forsyth Passes Away At 89

Legendary TV entertainer and presenter Sir Bruce Forsyth has passed away aged 89 after a long period of illness. He is survived by Wilnelia and six children. In a statement released this afternoon, his long-time manager Ian Wilson said: "It is with great sadness that the Forsyth family announce that Sir Bruce passed away this afternoon, peacefully at his home surrounded by his wife Wilnelia and all his children".

BBC One Orders Sarah Lotz Adaptation ‘The Three’ & Charles Sobhraj Drama Series ‘The Serpent’

BBC One is adding two big-budget dramas to their slate. The BBC's flagship channel has given the greenlight to The Three, an adaptation of the trilogy of novels by Sarah Lotz; and The Serpent, which tells the true story of the capture of Charles Sobhraj - one of the most elusive criminals of the 20th century. After a couple of months of ambiguity, BBC Two has now closed a deal with Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution to acquire the first window UK rights to The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story. BBC Two will air the second season of American Crime Story in 2018, shortly after it launches on FX in the United States.

STV Productions Scores Multi-Season ‘Antiques Road Trip’ Renewal From BBC

STV Productions has scored a multi-season renewal from the BBC for both Antiques Road Trip and Celebrity Antiques Road Trip. BBC One's Antiques Road Trip will return for fourth further seasons, for a total of 80 episodes; while BBC Two's Celebrity Antiques Road Trip will be back for another season of 20 episodes.
