BBC Two Orders ‘Frankie Boyle’s New World Order’ End Of Year Special
Frankie Boyle is returning to the BBC. Following the first season of his satirical show Frankie Boyle's New World Order, BBC Two has ordered a one-off special looking back at the events of the past year. 
Will & Grace is returning to the UK. Channel 5 has secured the exclusive UK rights to the revival series after striking a deal with international distributor NBCUniversal International Distribution. The sixteen episode revival, also known as the ninth season of Will & Grace, will premiere on Channel 5 on Friday January 5th at 10pm.
BBC One has released a pair of first look images from The Split, their upcoming six episode drama series from The Hour scribe Abi Morgan.
Neil Cross, creator of BBC One's hit series Luther, has inked an exclusive overall deal with FremantleMedia. Under the agreement, he will work with Euston Films' Kate Harwood and Fremantle Media's Dante Di Loreto to develop a range of high-end drama projects. Projected created and produced through the deal will be distributed globally by FremantleMedia International.
Sky has secured the first window rights to CBS' new drama series Seal Team and Instinct after striking a deal with international distributor CBS Studios International. SEAL Team will air on Sky One, while Instinct will air on Sky Living. Both series are expected to premiere on this side of the pond in 2018. 
Eat, Drink, And Be Buried - the fourth entry in Hallmark’s The Gourmet Detective movie series - will receive its UK premiere on Movies 24 on Saturday January 13th at 3pm, it has been announced.
Major Crimes will return to Universal Channel to finish airing its sixth and final season from Monday January 22nd at 9pm, it has been announced. The series goes on a brief six-week hiatus for the festive period following the broadcast of 'Sanctuary City: Part 5' on Monday December 11th.
