‘Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back’ Gets Pilot Order At Channel 4
Channel 4 has handed out a pilot order to Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back, a factual entertainment format that will see the comedian helping out the British public with all their consumer complaints. Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back will cover a range of consumer gripes, feature stories relating to consumer issues and go undercover in Joe‘s quest for consumer justice. In addition to Lycett, the show will feature consumer expert Katie Morley and tech expert Mark Silcox in the studio. Little Gem has hired former Channel 4 exec Kate Maddigan to serve as their new Head of Entertainment, the indie announced on Thursday. Maddigan had been at Channel 4 for the last year serving as a Commissioning Editor on the formats team. During her time in post she looked after such shows as LEGO Masters for Channel 4, and Celebs Go Dating, My Hotter Half and Five Star Hotel for E4. Amazon Prime Video has secured exclusive UK rights to Dietland, AMC's newest original series starring Julianna Margulies (The Good Wife) and Joy Nash (The Mindy Project).
