UKTV’s Dave Channel Renews ‘Zapped’ & ‘Porters’

Dave is sticking with two of their original scripted comedies. The UKTV owned and operated channel has renewed fantasy sitcom Zapped and NHS comedy PortersZapped will return for a third season, while Porters will return for season two. Both have received six episode orders and will return to Dave later this year.

Danny John-Jules To Exit BBC One’s ‘Death In Paradise’, Shyko Amos Set As New Series Regular

BBC One and Red Planet Pictures are shaking up the cast of Death In Paradise. Original cast member Danny John-Jules, who plays Officer Dwayne Myers, is exiting the Caribbean-set murder mystery drama after seven seasons. Additionally, Shyko Amos (A Very English Scandal) is joining the cast as a series regular for season eight.

Netflix UK Sets Premiere Date For ‘Sense8’ Finale

The Sense8 finale will premiere on Netflix UK on Friday June 8th, it has been announced. In the series finale, personal lives are pushed aside as the cluster, their sidekicks, and some unexpected allies band together for a rescue mission and BPO take-down in order to protect the future of all Sensates.

E4 Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘Black-ish’ Season 4

The fourth season of ABC’s comedy series Black-ish will receive its UK premiere on E4 on Monday May 7th at 7:30pm, and will then continue to air on weekdays in the same time-slot, it has been announced.

Wrestling Series ‘WOS Wrestling’ Gets 10 Episode Series Order At ITV

ITV has handed out a ten episode series order to WOS Wrestling, a wrestling series aimed at a family audience. WOS Wrestling will see some of the UK's finest pro wrestlers compete in various, intense bouts. At the end of each show, only one will get to take home the coveted WOS Wrestling Championship belt. Backstage interviews between rounds will give insight into what the wrestling stars are thinking.

Channel 4 Orders Mo Gilligan Pilot From Tiger Aspect Productions

Channel 4 is teaming up with Mo Gilligan and Tiger Aspect Productions for a new entertainment format. The broadcaster has handed out a pilot order to Mo's Town, hosted by Gilligan and produced by the Ripper Street indie, which will be a mix of comedy, sketches, music, celebrity guests and audience interaction.
