Sophie Rundle, Peter Davison, Gemma Jones & More Join BBC One’s ‘Gentleman Jack’
BBC One and HBO has set the cast for their co-production Gentleman Jack, which is being toplined by Suranne Jones. Joining the cast of the eight episode drama series is Sophie Rundle (Bodyguard), Gemma Whelan (Game of Thrones), Timothy West (Bleak House), Gemma Jones (Bridget Jones’s Diary), Stephanie Cole (Still Open All Hours), Peter Davison (Doctor Who), Amelia Bullmore (Scott & Bailey), Vincent Franklin (Happy Valley) and Shaun Dooley (Broadchurch). 
Channel 4 is re-teaming with Jamie Oliver. The broadcaster has renewed Jamie’s Quick & Easy Food for an expanded eighteen episode second season and given the greenlight to food travelogue series Jamie Cooks Italy.
W has handed out a two-season renewal to Inside The Ambulance. UKTV's flagship entertainment has ordered ten episodes for both seasons four and five, which will air later this year.
UKTV's flagship entertainment channel W has given the green-light to Sex, Knives & Liposuction - a three-episode documentary series fronted by Cherry Healey that will explore the world of cosmetic surgery.
Leo Suter, who recurred as Drummond on ITV's Victoria, has joined the cast for the second season of BBC Three's drama series Clique. Details of his character are being kept under wraps. Suter joins a returning cast that includes Synnove Karlsen as Holly, Sophia Brown as Louise and Rachel Hurd-Wood as Rachel. Other cast additions for season two include Barney Harris (The Hollow Crown), Imogen King (Darkest Hour), Stuart Campbell (Outlander), Izuka Hoyle (Mary, Queen of Scots) and newcomers and recent graduates Jyuddah Jaymes and Nicholas Nunn. 
Comedy Central UK has picked up stand-up comedy series Stand Up Central for a fourth season. The Viacom International Media Networks backed broadcaster has ordered eight half-hour episodes for season four. Catastrophe star Rob Delaney has been set as the new host. Stand Up Central sees Delaney perform stand-up before he welcomes two guest comedians on stage to perform in front of a live audience.
The second season of Freeform's drama series The Bold Type will receive its UK premiere on Amazon Prime Video UK on Wednesday June 13th, it has been announced. New episodes will then continue to be made available to stream every Wednesday, less than 24 hours after they initially air on Freeform in the United States.
