Remedy Productions Hires Denis O’Connor For CCO Role
Argonon Group's indie Remedy Productions has hired former Buccaneer Media exec Denis O'Connor to serve as Chief Creative Officer. The appointment, which is effective from June 11th, comes mere months after the company promoted Bernie Costello to serve as Managing Director. 
BBC Two has rounded out the cast for MatherFatherSon. Sarah Lancashire (Happy Valley), Pippa Bennett-Warner (Harlots), Danny Sapani (Star Wars: The Last Jedi), Sinéad Cusack (Marcella), Paul Ready (The Terror) and Joseph Mawle (Game of Thrones) will star opposite 
Bryncoed Productions has made the first senior hire since it launched. The indie founded by Foz Allan has brought on former NBCU exec Emma Yap as they embark on a development push. Yap will serve as development producer. She joins the recently launched company after having served as Global Acquisitions Executive for the Hollywood studio. She joined the industry in 2013 after being accepted as a writer on the Royal Court Theatre’s Unheard Voices scheme. She has also held roles at Bankside Films and produced the award-winning feature film Making It.

Reel One Entertainment is developing a UK adaptation of the award-winning Belgian series Tytgat Chocolat (aka Team Chocolate) after securing the format rights from European distribution company Wild Bunch TV.
