StarzPlay Inks Sony Deal For Audience’s Stephen King Adaptation ‘Mr. Mercedes’, Season 2 Premiere Set For August 23rd
StarzPlay is adding another first run acquisition to their slate. The channel - which is available exclusively in the UK on Amazon Prime via Amazon Channels - has picked up UK rights to Audience network's Stephen King adaptation Mr. Mercedes after striking a deal with international distributor Sony Pictures Television. The show's first season is now available to StarzPlay subscribers as of today. Season two will premiere on Thursday August 23rd, less than 24 hours behind the U.S. broadcast on Audience. 
Channel 5 is increasing the range of content they offer on My5. The broadcaster has struck content partnership deals with PBS America, Together, Little Dot Studios and BET for the VOD service. Additionally, they have extended their existing agreement with A+E Networks UK. 
Sleepy Hollow will premiere on Paramount Network on Wednesday July 18th at 9pm, it has been announced. 
The third season of Unforgotten will premiere on ITV on Sunday July 15th at 9pm, it has been announced. 
The Last Sharknado: It's About Time - the sixth and final Sharknado TV movie - will receive its UK premiere on Monday August 20th at 10pm, it has been announced.
