The second season of I’m Dying Up Here will receive its UK premiere on Sky Atlantic on Tuesday August 7th at 10:10pm with a double-bill, it has been announced.

Snowpiercer is coming to the UK. Netflix UK is set as the exclusive UK broadcaster for the series thanks to a larger deal between ITV Studios Global Entertainment and the streaming service, which will see Netflix serve as the global broadcaster outside of the U.S. and China. Elsewhere, in a deal with NBCUniversal International Distribution, Netflix UK has also boarded Bravo's new scripted series Dirty John, which is based on the articles and breakout true crime podcast of the same name from Los Angeles Times reporter Christopher Goffard.
Following the runaway success of last year's Murder On The Blackpool Express, UKTV's Gold channel has given the greenlight to sequel film Death On The Tyne. Johnny Vegas and Sian Gibson are on-board to reprise their roles as Terry and Gemma, respectively. Death On The Tyne sees Terry and Gemma take Mildred and her care home friends, including Hilda and Colleen on an Amsterdam cruise adventure across the Tyne. They’re welcomed aboard the Empress of the Tyne by ageing lothario Captain Jack and his motley crew. It’s not long before things start to go awry in the most puzzling mystery the Tyne has ever seen.
Sky has teamed with Australian broadcaster Foxtel for Upright, an eight episode comedy drama set on a 4,000km road trip across Australia from Sydney to Perth, with a piano in tow. Tim Minchin (Californication) is attached to star, alongside newcomer Milly Alcock.
Hat Trick Productions has optioned the rights to historian and novelist Simon Sebag Montefiore’s Russian thriller One Night In Winter, with plans to develop it into a TV series. One Night In Winter is set just after the Second World War. As Stalin and his courtiers celebrate victory over Hitler, shots ring out. On a nearby bridge, a teenage boy and girl lie dead. But this is no ordinary tragedy and these are no ordinary teenagers, but the children of Russia’s most important leaders who attend the most exclusive school in Moscow. Is it murder? A suicide pact?
