Netflix UK Sets Premiere Date For ‘House Of Cards’ Season 6

The sixth and final season of House Of Cards will receive its UK premiere on Netflix UK on Friday November 2nd, it has been announced. House of Cards initially followed ruthless politician Francis Underwood, as he ascends from the position of House Majority Whip to President of the United States. The sixth and final seasons follows former UN Ambassador, First Lady and Vice-President of the United States Claire Underwood as she assumes the presidency.

Channel 4 Orders ‘Born Famous’ Documentary Series

Channel 4 has given the green-light to Born Famous, a four episode documentary series that explores how the offspring of some of Britain’s most successful self-made celebrities would have lived had their parents not found fame. Talent lined up for Born Famous includes Jack Ramsay, son of TV chef Gordon Ramsay; Phoenix Chi, daughter of Spice Girl and America’s Got Talent judge Mel B; Bethany Mone, daughter of millionaire Ultimo founder Michelle Mone; and Ria Ince, daughter of former Manchester United and England football captain Paul Ince.

ITV2’s ‘Timewasters’ Renewed For Second Season

ITV2 has handed out a second season renewal to time-travel comedy Timewasters. Six episodes have been commissioned for the show's second season, which will start filming next week for a 2019 premiere.

‘A League Of Their Own’: Wladimir Klitschko, Geri Horner, Tony Bellew & More Set As Guests For Season 13

Sky One has set the roster of guests for the thirteenth season of A League Of Their Own, which premieres on Thursday August 30th at 9pm. The premiere episode will feature Tony Bellew, Lizzy Yarnold and Alan Carr; while guests set to appear throughout season thirteen include Wladimir Klitschko, Tony Bellew, John Terry, David Walliams, Helen Skelton. Ashley Cole, Jack Wilshere, Geri Horner, Rob Beckett and Mo Farah. They will appear alongside new regular Romesh Ranganathan, who is replacing Jack Whitehall.

More4 Acquires ‘Berlin Station’ In Deal With Paramount

Spooks and Strike Back star Richard Armitage's newest espionage series is coming to the UK. Channel 4 has secured the free-to-air and non-linear rights to Epix's spy thriller Berlin Station for their digi-net More4 after striking a deal with Paramount Pictures Worldwide Television Licensing & Distribution. The series is set to premiere later this year.

Paramount Network Acquires FTA Rights To The CW’s ‘Arrow’

Arrow is coming to free-to-air. Viacom's recently launched Paramount Network has acquired FTA rights to The CW's long-running comic book series after striking a deal with international distributor Warner Bros International Television Distribution. The first season of Arrow will premiere on Paramount later this month.
