UKTV & Virgin Media Agree New Carriage Deal; All Ten Channels Returning To Platform

The nearly month-long dispute between UKTV and Virgin Media is now over. The two companies have come to terms on a new "long-term" carriage deal that will see all ten of UKTV's channel brands return to the platform. Virgin Media said the reinstatement of the channels would happen "as soon as possible", with some returning immediately.

History's Vikings will return to Amazon Prime Video UK to finish airing its fifth season from Thursday November 29th, it has been announced. New episodes will the continue to be made available to UK Prime members every Thursday, less than 24 hours after they initially air on History in the United States.

UPDATE, August 8th: Movies 24 has now rescheduled the fifth season of When Calls The Heart for Sunday September 2nd at 5pm. The cause for the nearly one month delay from the previously announced date is still unclear.
