Abacus Media Rights Takes Global Distribution Rights To BBC One’s ‘The Trick’, Lines Up Pre-Sales With PBS & NENT Group

Abacus Media Rights has boarded BBC One's The Trick and will serve as the global distributor for the one-off Climategate drama. They have already lined up pre-sales for The Trick with PBS in the United States and NENT Group in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, The Netherlands, Poland, and the Baltics.

ITV Orders Alexander Litvinenko Drama, David Tennant To Star

ITV has teamed with NENT Group to commission Litvinenko, a four-part drama about the assassination of the former Russian FSB and KGB officer whose death in November 2006, triggered one of the most complex investigations in the history of the Metropolitan Police. David Tennant is attached to star as Alexander Litvinenko.

BBC Two Acquires UK Rights To Canal+’s ‘Marie Antoinette’

BBC Two has acquired the UK rights to Canal+'s original drama series Marie Antoinette after striking a deal with international distributor Banijay Rights. This marks the first international deal for the series, which is expected to premiere on BBC Two and the BBC iPlayer later this year. 

Disney+ Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘The Book Of Boba Fett’

New Star Wars TV series The Book Of Boba Fett will receive its UK premiere on Disney+ on Wednesday December 29th, it has been announced. First teased in late 2020 following the second season finale of The Mandalorian, The Book Of Boba Fett finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the Galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.
