‘The Cry’ Indie Synchronicity Films Developing ‘The Tattooist Of Auschwitz’ TV Adaptation
In a heated situation with multiple parties bidding, The Cry indie Synchronicity Films has secured the rights to Heather Morris’ novel The Tattooist Of Auschwitz, with plans to adapt it as a "high-end" international drama series. The indie has already set Jacquelin Perske, who was behind their adaptation of The Cry, to adapt The Tattooist Of Auschwitz for television. The series is planned to be ready for broadcast in January 2020, to tie in with the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. BBC One Sets Premiere Date For ‘The Cry’

Channel 5 is adding a new drama series to their line-up. The VIMN backed broadcaster has acquired Blood, a psychological crime thriller from Riviera scribe Sophie Petzal which is being headlined by Line Of Duty's Adrian Dunbar, in a pre-sale deal with All3Media International.
