Channel 5 Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘Blood’

Psychological crime thriller Blood will receive its UK premiere on Channel 5 on Monday November 19th at 9pm with a double-bill, it has been announced. The remaining four episodes will air on weekdays in the 9pm time-slot, with the finale set for Friday November 23rd.

Acorn TV Nabs Exclusive U.S. Rights To BBC One’s ‘Line Of Duty’

This is a major coup for Acorn TV. The North American streaming service has secured the exclusive U.S. streaming rights to the upcoming fifth season of BBC One's Line Of Duty in a deal with Kew Media Distribution. They replace Hulu as the U.S. home to Jed Mercurio's thriller.

First Look: BBC One’s Andrea Levy Adaptation ‘The Long Song’

BBC One has released a first look image from their upcoming three-part Andrea Levy adaptation The Long Song. It is set during the final days of slavery in 19th century Jamaica and tells the story of the strong-willed, young slave July on a plantation owned by her odious mistress Caroline Mortimer. When a charming new arrival to the island, Robert Goodwin, becomes the new overseer, July and Caroline are both intrigued by his seemingly revolutionary determination to improve the plantation for the slaves and mistress alike.
