DRG & NENT Group Norway have teamed together to launch a co-commissioning drive for non-scripted content with a stated goal being to create long-running series for NENT's TV3, Viasat4 and TV6. DRG will then handle international distribution for series commissioned under this pact. 
Netflix UK's new comedy series Russian Doll will premiere on Friday February 1st, it has been announced. 
Sky Atlantic has released a first look image of Jude Law and John Malkovich from their The Young Pope follow-up The New Pope. 
Netflix UK has announced that the fifth season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine will be available on the streaming service as of Friday March 8th. Season five previously aired in the UK on E4. The Channel 4 owned youth-skewing digi-net recently inked a new deal with NBCUniversal International Distribution to pick up the first window UK rights to the show's eighteen episode sixth season. E4 has not yet set a firm premiere date for season six. 
After a delay of nearly six weeks, StarzPlay has now launched on the Virgin Media platform. Virgin Media customers will require a StarzPlay add-on subscription (costing £4.99 per month) to access the service. 
UKTV's Alibi channel has secured the UK rights to Australian drama series Bite Club, starring Lost's Dominic Monaghan, after striking a deal with international distributor Sony Pictures Television. While a firm launch date has not yet been set, it is presently eyed for a February premiere.
