UKTV’s Really Channel Renews ‘Help! My House is Haunted’, Boards ‘Unexplained: Caught On Camera’

Really - which is one of the three UKTV channels that are set to be taken over by Discovery later this year - has renewed their paranormal series Help! My House is Haunted. Additionally, the channel has boarded Unexplained: Caught On Camera, a new eight episode paranormal series which, like Help! My House Is Haunted, is produced by Brighton based indie Back2Back.

BBC One Acquires Acorn’s ‘London Kills’ For Daytime Schedule

BBC One has inked a deal with Acorn Media International to acquire both season of Acorn TV's original UK drama series London Kills, from Suspects creator Paul Marquess, for their daytime schedule. London Kills sees London serve as the backdrop for a series of murders – all investigated by an elite murder squad that is being led by Detective Inspector David Bradford. As the detectives solve each case, the one mystery David can’t solve is the one most personal to him. His wife has gone missing – is she alive or dead?

More4 Inks eOne Deal For UK Rights To ‘Mary Kills People’

Mary Kills People is coming to the UK. More4 has secured the UK rights to the Canadian drama series after inking a life-of-series agreement with international distributor Entertainment One (eOne). The deal was brokered by Patrick Roberts, eOne’s Vice-President of Sales – UK & Scandinavia, International Distribution and Nick Lee, Channel 4's Head of Series Acquisition.

Lily Collins To Star In ‘Emily In Paris’, Paramount Network Picks Up UK Rights

Lily Collins (The Last Tycoon, Les Misérables) has been set as the lead in Emily In Paris, Paramount Network's new dramedy series from Sex & The City and Younger creator Darren Star. Originally commissioned for the U.S. network, Paramount Network International has since boarded Emily In Paris and will air the series on their Paramount Network branded channels in more than 100 territories - including the UK.

BBC Studios Developing Marilyn Monroe Drama From ‘Trust Me’ Creator Dan Sefton

BBC Studios is teaming with Seven Seas Films and Trust Me creator Dan Sefton for a new drama series exploring the last six months of Marilyn Monroe's life. The series is based on Keith Badman’s book The Final Years of Marilyn Monroe: The Shocking True Story. The executive producers are Anne Pivcevic for BBC Studios and Simon Lupton for Seven Seas Films.
