Mark Caulton Joins Parade Media As Chief Content Officer
Parade Media is adding to their ranks. The company has hired Mediaworks' former Director of Programming Mark Caulton to serve as their Chief Content Officer. “Matt’s done a terrific job growing Parade, and I’m really excited to join the team and help take the business to the next level”, Mark Caulton said in a statement. 
Alibi has picked up two new U.S. acquisitions. The UKTV owned and operated channel has struck deals with WarnerMedia and Endeavor Content for TNT's I Am The Night and Paramount Network's Waco, respectively. Both series will premiere on Alibi later this year. UKTV's Head of Acquisitions brokered both licensing agreements with WarnerMedia and Endeavor Content.
BBC One has released the trailer for their Philip Pullman adaptation His Dark Materials, which is set to premiere later this year.
Private Eyes has secured a second UK home. Channel 5's digi-net 5USA has acquired the Canadian drama series fronted by Jason Priestley (Beverly Hills 90210). eOne (Entertainment One) handles global sales. The show's first season will premiere on 5USA next month. 
BBC Two has ordered two-part factual drama Salisbury, which explores the impact of the 2018 Novichok poisonings on Salisbury and the community. The two-parter tells the story of how ordinary people reacted to a crisis on their doorstep, displaying extraordinary heroism as their city became the focus of an unprecedented national emergency. The BBC said that casting would be announced in due course.
Frankie Drake is making a stop in the UK. UKTV and CBC's co-production Frankie Drake Mysteries recently kicked off production on its ten episode third season with a shoot in London. Production will continue on location in Ontario through to the autumn.
The Simpsons creator Matt Groening's newer animated effort Disenchantment will return to Netflix UK with the second half of its first season from Friday September 20th, it has been announced.
