Filming has started on the ninth season of BBC One's Caribbean-set crime drama Death In Paradise. Production is taking place on the French-Caribbean island of Guadeloupe. As TVWise previously reported, Aude Legastelois, who plays Detective Sergeant Madeleine Dumas, has been upped to series regular for season nine. YouTuber and Strictly runner up Joe Sugg has landed a guest spot on Cartoon Network's The Amazing World Of Gumball. He will appear in the episode airing next week (Monday May 27th). Sugg will play Azrael, a super-cool ghost from Carrie’s past. Per Cartoon Network: "Joe’s personality and charm lends itself perfectly to voice Azrael as he shares in-jokes and history with Carrie, much to the dismay of her current boyfriend Darwin and Gumball". There will be no fourth season for Humans. The Channel 4/AMC co-production has been cancelled after three seasons, TVWise has confirmed. The news comes close to a year after the third season wrapped its run. “Humans will not be returning for another series. The show has had three successful series and has been much loved by fans", a representative of Channel 4 said in a statement.
