BBC One has set The Pale Horse as their next Agatha Christie adaptation. It follows in the footsteps of previous adaptations And Then There Were None, The Witness For The Prosecution, Ordeal By Innocence and The ABC Murders. 
UKTV Creative - the broadcaster's award-winning in-house creative team - has unveiled a new advert for Dave that will begin airing on the channel as of today (Tuesday June 11th). The ad in question was filmed over a six month period and features talent behind the channel's original series offering a behind-the-scene glimpse of programme making and reinforcing the message that Dave is now home to more original British comedy than ever before. 
UKTV is expanding their slate of originals. The commercial broadcaster has commissioned a new scripted comedy starring Jon Richardson for Dave, Death On The Tyne sequel Dial M For Middlesbrough for Gold, and a new eight episode Dave Gorman series for Dave. 
Imelda Staunton (Harry Potter, Vera Drake), Francesca Annis (The Little House, Cranford), Russell Tovey (Years and Years, Quantico) and Stephen Rea (War & Peace, The Honourable Woman) have been cast in ITV's four-part drama Flesh And Blood. 
Channel 5 is continuing to build a slate of exclusive acquisitions for My5. The broadcaster has acquired CBC's Anna Paquin fronted drama series for their VOD service after striking a deal with Muse Distribution International. The complete series will be available to stream on My5 from Friday June 28th. 
StarzPlay has released the trailer for the second season of Sweetbitter, which is set to premiere on Sunday July 14th. In season two, Tess has the job, and she’s ready to invest in it. She’s all in, but soon realises she won’t survive at the restaurant if she doesn’t play the game. Tess finds her appetite awakened. She’s starving for knowledge but investing in this life means more than knowing the difference between wine from Bordeaux and Burgundy.
