ITV To Rest ‘Cold Feet’ After Ninth Season

It's the end of the road for Cold Feet... at least for now. ITV has announced that they will be "resting" the series after the ninth season, which wrapped its run last night. The door remains open for a tenth season at some point in the future, which would explore the characters and their stories at a later stage in their lives.

Shalom Brune-Franklin (Our Girl, Cursed), Perry Fitzpatrick (This Is England, I Am Nicola), Andi Osho (Kiri, Curfew) and Prasanna Puwanarajah (Doctor Foster, Patrick Melrose) have joined the cast of Line Of Duty for the show's sixth season, which is now filming ahead of a late 2020 premiere.

Miss Fisher is returning to Alibi. The UKTV owned and operated channel has secured the exclusive UK rights to Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries feature film Miss Fisher And The Crypt Of Tears. All3Media International handles global sales for the film. It is being eyed for an April premiere.

BBC One Renews ‘King Gary’ For Second Season

BBC One has handed out a second season renewal to their Tom Davis fronted series King Gary. Six episodes have been ordered for the show's second season. The renewal comes shortly after the first season wrapped its run and on the back of strong figures on iPlayer. The BBC said it had attracted over 2 million views on the streaming service.

BBC Four Acquires UK Rights To ‘The Secrets She Keeps’ & ‘The Last Wave’

BBC Four has inked deals with DCD Rights and Fremantle to acquire the UK rights to Australian drama series The Secrets She Keeps and French drama The Last Wave, respectively. Both series are expected to air in the channel's Saturday night foreign drama slot later this year.
