NBC Greenlights Comedy Pilots From ‘Friends’ EP Greg Mallins & D.J. Nash

NBC has picked up two new comedy pilots: Take It From Us, which hails from Friends and Ground Floor executive producer Greg Mallins; and People Are Talking from Growing Up Fisher creator D.J. Nash.

Fox has handed out pilot orders to a US remake of BBC One's 'Luther'; 'Frankenstein', from Homeland and 24 executive producer Howard Gordon; 'Rosewood', a crime drama from Psych's Todd Harthan; and '48 Hours 'Til Monday, a comedy which hails from Universal Television.

TruTV UK On The Hunt For Co-Productions, Adds To Executive Team

TruTV UK is seeking co-production partners to develop "high volume character-led content" for the UK market, as part of a concerted effort to drive the growth of the fledgling channel. As part of that same effort, the channel has recruited former UKTV exec Jane Mote and BBCWW's Sabina McNally.

eOne Takes Distribution Rights To ‘David Attenborough’s Great Barrier Reef’

Amazon Prime Instant Video UK will premiere the second season of pirate drama 'Black Sails' on Sunday January 25th, it has been announced. New episodes will then continue to be added every Sunday, less than 24 hours after they initially air on Starz in the United States.

Sky Adds Stephen Mangan Fronted ‘Birthday’ & Harlan Coben’s ‘The Five’ To 2015 Drama Slate

Sky is adding a further two projects to their 2015 drama slate. The broadcaster has commissioned one-off drama Birthday starring Episodes alum Stephen Mangan as a pregnant man, which will air on Sky Arts; and The Five, Harlan Coben's first original television drama, for Sky Living.
