Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who had a recurring role on the WB/CW series 'Supernatural' as John Winchester, has been tapped for a co-starring role in the second season of the Halle Berry fronted summer series 'Extant'. 
NBC has ordered a pilot for single camera comedy 'Cuckoo', an adaptation of the BBC Three series of the same name whic starred Andy Samberg. Tyger Drew Honey, Greg Davies and (later) Taylor Lautner. 
Amazon Prime Instant Video has snapped up the exclusive U.S. rights to the Sharon Horgan and Rob Delaney's six episode Channel 4 comedy 'Catastrophe', which was recently renewed for a second season, after reaching a deal with series producer Avalon Television. 
Lifetime UK has snapped up the exclusive UK rights to the WIGS series Blue starring Julia Stiles (The Bourne Ultimatum) and Uriah Shelton (The Glades) for their Spring schedule. The drama is set to air in a ten week run on the female-skewing channel from Monday March 2nd at 10pm. 
The fifth season of CBS' comedy series Mike & Molly will receive its UK premiere on Comedy Central UK on Tuesday February 10th at 9:30pm, it has been announced.
