Galaxy Quest: The Series? Paramount Television are reportedly developing a TV series based on the hit 1999 comedy film starring Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Alan Rickman and Tony Shalhoub, which was produced as something of a parody of the Star Trek feature film franchise. 
HBO is teaming up with Whitney and 2 Broke Girls creator Whitney Cummings for their next comedy project. The premium cable network has handed out a pilot order to the as-yet untitled comedy which is based on Maureen Dowd’s book Are Men Necessary? When Sexes Collide. In addition, HBO has also ordered a stand-up special featuring Cummings. 
BBC Two is adding to their line up for 2015 and 2016. BBC Two and BBC Four Controller Kim Shillinglaw has unveiled a wealth of new commissions for the channel including a new comedy series titled Mum from the creative team behind the Him & Her, a new drama series set in Africa from The Honourable Woman creator Hugo Blick. 
No surprises here: Family Guy is moving to BBC Two. Ahead of BBC Three's move online later this year, the BBC has announced that Family Guy will be moving to BBC Two until the corporation's licensing agreement for the Fox animated series expires in 2017. As such BBC Two will premiere the thirteenth season of Family Guy later this year, before ITV2 takes over first window rights this Autumn. 
And the revival craze this development cycle continues... After months of rumors, Netflix has handed out a 13 episode order to a revival of the 1980s ABC sitcom Full House. The series, which is working under the title Fuller House, is envisioned as a sequel to the ABC series and is set to premiere globally on Netflix in 2016. 
Dominic Sherwood has been set as the male lead in ABC Family's straight-to-series drama Shadowhunters, which is based on Cassandra Clare's YA novel series The Mortal Instruments. The British actor, repped by Curtis Brown, will play Jace Wayland, a determined and expert Shadowhunter who is described as being both narcissistic and lethally gorgeous.
