Along with dropping the first trailer earlier today, Netflix has released a series of first look images for their upcoming sci-fi series Sense8. The 12 episode drama, from J. Michael Straczynski and The Wachowskis, premieres globally on the streaming service on Friday June 5th. 
The BBC's Head of Independent Drama Poly Hill has been named as the new Controller of Drama Commissioning, succeeding outgoing Controller Ben Stephenson who is set to join JJ Abrams' Bad Robot as Head of Television. BBC America has renewed their flagship original drama series Orphan Black for a ten episode fourth season, the network announced on Thursday. The fourth season is slated to enter production later this year for a 2016 premiere. 
The Mindy Project's time on Fox has come to an end. The network has cancelled the Universal Television produced comedy created by and starring The Office's Mindy Kaling after three seasons. That being said, Fox decision to cancel the comedy may not spell the end for The Mindy Project. Hulu is understood to be in talks with Universal Television to pick up The Mindy Project for a further two seasons, bringing it past the 100 episodes needed for syndication. 
The CW has renewed freshman DC Comics drama iZombie for a 13 episode second season. The series joins The 100, Arrow, The Flash, Jane The Virgin, The Originals, Reign, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries and Beauty & The Beast - all of which have also been renewed for next season. 
It was always considered a shoo-in but now it's official: CBS has handed out a series order to Supergirl, making it their first official pick up for the 2015-2016 broadcast season. 
ABC Family has found their Clary Fray. Katherine McNamara (New Year's Eve) has been tapped to play the female lead in Shadowhunters, the 10 episode Mortal Instruments adaptation which landed at the network back in April with a straight-to-series order.
