Syfy UK is tweaking the launch plans for the latest season of Defiance. After previously announcing a June 18th debut, the NBU backed channel has pushed the season 3 premiere back a week to Thursday June 25th at 9pm. No reason was given for the scheduling change. 
BBC has given the greenlight to My Mother And Other Strangers, a five episode period drama from Darling Buds of May scribe Barry Devlin which is set in Northern Ireland during the Second World War. 
Lifetime UK has picked up the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to Bravo's reality series The Shah's of Sunset Boulevard after striking a deal with NBCUniversal International Television Distribution, TVWise has learned. 
BBC One has renewed fledgling comedy series Count Arthur Strong. The BBC's flagship channel has ordered seven episodes for the show's third season, which is expected to begin production next year for a broadcast later in 2016. 
BBC Two's two-part Iain Banks adaptation Stonemouth will premiere on Thursday June 11th at 9pm, it has been announced. 
Lifetime's original drama series UnREAL will receive its UK premiere on Lifetime UK on Tuesday July 7th at 10pm, it has been announced. 
The third season of BBC One's lotto drama The Syndicate will premiere on Tuesday June 2nd at 9pm, it has been announced.
