Hollywood's obsession with comic books continues... USA Network has handed out a pilot order to Brooklyn Animal Control, an adaptation of the comic book of the same name by JT Petty and IDW Publishing. Diane Keaton (The Godfather) has signed on to co-star opposite Jude Law in the Young Pope, the eight episode miniseries from creator Paul Sorrentino which is a co-production between Sky, HBO and French broadcaster Canal+. Keaton will play Sister Mary, a nun from the U.S. now living in Vatican City. Netflix Renews ‘BoJack Horseman’ For Third Season, Sets Premiere Dates For ‘Longmire’ & ‘Master Of None’
Netflix has picked up a third season of their animated comedy series BoJack Horseman, which stars Will Arnett and Aaron Paul. The streaming giant has ordered 13 episodes for the show's third season, which is expected to premiere globally in 2016. After an extended delay, Hallmark Channel has formally pulled the trigger on a third season of period drama When Calls The Heart. My Mad Fat Diary alum Jodie Comer has been tapped to play the lead in Thirteen, BBC Three's five episode drama series from up and coming writer Marnie Dickens and BBC In-House Drama Production England. The role brings Comer back to the BBC after she recently starred in their adaptation of Lady Chatterley's Lover.
