‘Scott & Bailey’ Renewed For Shortened Fifth Season At ITV
Close to a year after the show's fourth season wrapped its run, ITV has renewed police drama Scott & Bailey starring Suranne Jones and Lesley Sharp for a shortened fifth run. Three episodes have been ordered for the fifth season, down significantly from the eight episodes that comprised seasons two through four. 
Elementary and Harry Potter alum Rhys Ifans has signed on for a co-starring role opposite Richard Jenkins (Six Feet Under) in Berlin Station, the 10 episode contemporary espionage crime drama from Paramount TV which is set up at premium streaming service Epix. Rhys Ifans will play Case Officer Hector DeJean, who is described as a darkly charming, tenacious agent. He jois Richard Jenkins who was previously cast to play Steven Frost, a veteran of the Cold War who serves as the CIA’s Chief of Station in Berlin. 
Bravo's first original scripted drama series is coming to the UK. Lifetime UK has acquired the exclusive first run UK broadcast rights to Girlfriends' Guide To Divorce after striking a deal with international distributor NBCUniversal International Television Distribution, TVWise has learned. The show's 13 episode first season will premiere on Lifetime UK on Tuesday September 15th at 9pm. 
Former Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammon and James May are set to front a new motoring series for Amazon Prime Instant Video after they signed a three-season deal with the streaming service, TVWise has learned. 
TNT has cast the first two leads for Animal Kindom. The New Normal & Happyish star Ellen Barkin and Last Resort's Scott Speedman have been tapped for major roles in the hour-long drama pilot from John Wells Productions and Warner Horizon Television which is based on the 2010 feature film of the same name.
