Channel 5 To Adapt Spike’s ‘Lip Sync Battle’ For UK
Lip Sync Battle is getting a UK adaptation. In what is their most significant entertainment commission since being acquired by Viacom, Channel 5 has ordered a local version of Lip Sync Battle, the format which sees celebrities going head-to-head and their lip-sync the song of their choice. The original series, presented by LL Cool J, airs on the Viacom owned Spike in the United States.

Despite the change in ownership, co-producing UK dramas remains at the core of BBC America's drama strategy. The network has signed on to co-produce Peter Moffatt's BBC One drama Undercover, starring Sophie Okonedo and Adrian Lester; and BBC Three's just cast five-part drama Thirteen, which hails from up and coming writer Marnie Dickens.

Channel 4 and AMC have renewed their sci-fi co-production Humans for a second season, the two broadcasters announced on Friday. Eight episodes have been ordered for the show's second season, matching the order for season one. Production is expected to get underway in late 2015, for a 2016 premiere on Channel 4 in the UK and AMC in the United States.
BBC Two has released the first trailer for their upcoming facual drama about Lady Seymour Worsley titled The Scandalous Lady W (formerly known as The Lady In Red), which is being toplined by Game Of Thrones star Natalie Dormer.
