FOX UK is turning to Adult Swim for their renewed push into scripted comedy. The FIC owned and operated channel has inked a deal with Turner Broadcasting System for the exclusive UK broadcast rights to a wide range of Adult Swim content, including Dan Harmon's Rick & Morty and Mr Pickles. Despite reports to the contrary, Community has not been cancelled just yet. Word that the show had run its course spread like wild-fire over the past day, after series star Joel McHale gave an interview to Metro Weekly in which he stated that there would be no seventh season of Community, despite all the involved parties wanting it, due to financial issues. Yahoo Screen meanwhile maintains that they are "still in discussions" with Sony about the show's future.
