FOX Picks Up UK Rights To AMC’s ‘The Talking Dead’
FOX UK is bringing The Talking Dead to the UK. After trialling the series by airing a one-off special earlier this year, the Fox International Channels owned and operated channel has acquired the exclusive UK broadcast right to The Talking Dead in a deal with international distributor Entertainment One (eOne). As it does in the U.S., The Talking Dead will air behind new episodes of The Walking Dead this Autumn. 
Fox is bringing back another well known X-Files alum for the revival. Annabeth Gish (The Bridge, Sons Of Anarchy) has signed on to reprise her role as FBI Special Agent Monica Reyes in the limited event series. She will appear in one episode towards the end of the six episode run. 

TV Land has handed out a 12 episode straight-to-series order to Lopez, a semi-autobiographical single-camera comedy series starring and executive produced by George Lopez.
The CW is developing The Notebook, an hour-long drama series based on the Nicholas Sparks novel and the feature film of the same name, TVWise has confirmed.
Showtime has released a new full length trailer for Billions, their hour-long financial drama which is being toplined by Paul Giamatti (Downton Abbey) and Damian Lewis (Homeland). The series is set to premiere on Sunday January 17th at 10/9c.
Portrait Artist Of The Year is heading to the United States. Arts focused cable network Ovation has secured the U.S. broadcast rights to the Sky Arts series after striking a deal with international distributor Zodiak Rights, TVWise has learned. Ovation's deal with Zodiak covers the first two seasons of the show.
