Rachel DiPillo & Torrey DeVitto Join NBC’s ‘Chicago Med’ As Series Regulars
Rachel DiPillo (Jane The Virgin) and Torrey DeVitto (The Vampire Diaries) have joined the cast of NBC's latest Chicago Fire spin-off Chicago Med as series regulars, TVWise has learned. DiPillo, who has also enjoyed stints on such shows as NCIS, Mad Men and Emily Owens, M.D., will play Dr. Sarah Reese, an emergency room intern who’s fresh out of medical school. While DeVitto has been cast as Dr. Lilly Manning, a pregnant ER physician. NBC is getting back into business with the creators of their cult comedy series Parks & Recreation and 30 Rock. Sesame Street is on the move. The iconic kids series is set to move to HBO after the premium cable network struck a deal with production company Sesame Workshop. Under the deal, HBO will get an "exclusive window" on new episodes for the next five seasons, before they are subsequently broadcast on PBS and member stations some nine months later.
