The two-hour series finale of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will receive its UK premiere on Channel 5 on Tuesday September 29th at 10pm, it has been announced. 
Sky1's Rob Lowe fronted dramedy series You, Me & The Apocalypse (formerly known as Apocalypse Slough) will premiere on Wednesday September 30th at 9pm, it has been announced. 
Fox is continuing the trend of turning feature films into TV series. The network has handed out a put pilot commitment to Behind Enemy Lines, an hour-long TV project based on the 2001 feature film starring Gene Hackman and Owen Wilson (pictured). The original film hailed from 20th Century Fox and, as such, the studio's TV division 20th Century Fox Television will produce the TV adaptation. 
ITV2 has commissioned the FremantleMedia UK owned indie Talkback to produce Glitchy, a six episode sketch-prank hybrid series featuring Plebs star Ryan Sampson. 
In a move certain to surprise many in the industry, Nina Tassler has announced that she is stepping down from her position as Chairman of CBS Entertainment at the end of this year, before moving into an advisory role at CBS through to 2017 (when her contract is up). Glenn Geller, who currently oversees Current Programming for both CBS Entertainment and CBS Television Studios, has been promoted to President of CBS Entertainment and will take over from Tassler when she steps down. 
NBC has made calls on their scripted summer series, opting to bring back the very well-received The Carmichael Show for a second season to air in 2016. Additionally, the network has cancelled fellow summer comedy Mr Robinson after one six episode season.
