Gaumont Developing J.J. Connolly Adaptation ‘Viva La Madness’, Jason Statham To Star
Gaumont International Television - the production company behind Hannibal and Hemlock Grove - is developing Viva La Madness, an hour-long TV series based on J.J. Connolly novel of the same name which has Transporter alum Jason Statham attached to star. 
Craig Ferguson is returning to television. History has given the green-light to Join Or Die With Craig Ferguson, a new talk show format fronted by former host of The Late Late Show, TVWise has learned. The network has ordered sixteen episodes for the show's freshman run, which is set to premiere in 2016.
CBS Reality's first original series kicked off with a bang last week. Killer Doctors On Death Row debuted on CBS Reality across two nights on Monday September 7th to some 234 000 viewers; giving the channel its best weekday audience so far this year. Additionally, Killer Doctors On Death Row was sampled by half a million viewers during its first week.
The third season of BBC America's original series Orphan Black will receive its UK premiere on BBC Three on Sunday September 27th at 2:10 am with a double-bill, TVWise has learned. New episodes will then continue every day in double-bills in an early-morning slot (around 1:30am) through to the season finale on October 1st. 
USA Network has tapped Helix alum Jordan Hayes for a starring role in their drama pilot Poor Richard’s Almanack, which hails from Jim Danger Gray, Miguel Sapochnik, Legendary Television and the network's sister studio Universal Cable Productions.
Sky has appointed Azoomee executive Lucy Murphy as their inaugural Head of Kids Content, the satcaster announced on Thursday. Murphy will take up post next month and will report directly to Sky's Director of Entertainment Stuart Murphy.
