USA Network is adding to the cast of Poor Richard's Almanack. Harold Perrineau (Lost, Z Nation) and Sam Jaeger (Eli Stone, Parenthood) have been cast in regular roles in the network's hour-long pilot which hails from Jim Danger Gray, Miguel Sapochnik, Legendary Television and USA Network’s sister studio Universal Cable Productions. 
Frank Spotnitz's latest drama project Medici: Masters Of Florence is moving forward. The period piece set during the Italian Renaissance has landed an eight episode straight-to-series order from Italian broadcaster RAI and is set to enter production later this month in Italy. Dustin Hoffman (Luck) and Richard Madden (Game Of Thrones) are attached to star. 
UKTV's Dave channel has handed out a two season renewal to breakout original series Taskmaster, featuring Greg Davies and Alex Horne. The total pick-up is for ten episodes, split across seasons two and three, which will air in 2016 and 2017, respectively. 
FX is staying in business with former Rescue Me star Denis Leary. The cable network has renewed Leary's comedy series Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, from FX Productions and Fox 21 Television Studios, for a ten episode second season, which is set to air in 2016. 
Sky Atlantic has released a new trailer for their upcoming high-profile original drama series The Last Panthers, which is set to premiere this November.
