NBC is showing a early sign of confidence in their new Monday night drama Blindspot. Mere days after the series starring Sullivan Stapleton and Jaimie Alexander premiered to a strong 10.6 million viewers and a 3.1 A18-49 demo rating, the network has ordered nine additional scripts, TVWise has confirmed. 
Deutschland 83 is coming to the UK. Channel 4 has acquired the UK linear broadcast and VOD rights to the critically acclaimed German Cold War drama series after striking a deal with international distributor FremantleMedia International, TVWise has learned. The series will initially premiere in the UK with a linear broadcast on Channel 4 before being made available exclusively as a boxset on C4's soon-to-launch foreign language drama VOD service Walter Presents 
Alan Cumming, who has played campaign manager turned Chief of Staff Eli Gold since the first season of CBS' The Good Wife, has signed up for a starring role in Florent, a dark comedy revolving around colourful New York restaurateur Florent Morellet which is set up at Showtime. 
TNT is adding to their development slate with a pilot order for Robbers, an hour-long crime drama which is based on the Christopher Cook novel of the same name which hails from Sony Pictures Television, author Christopher Cook and Michael Dinner.
