Several days ahead of the series premiere, Starz has renewed Ash Vs Evil Dead for a second season to air in 2016. The network has not specified the size of the episode order, but season two is expected to consist of at least ten episodes - matching the size of the order for season one. 
Some 24 hours after Fox handed out a back-nine order to Rob Lowe comedy The Grinder, the network has done the same with time-slot companion Grandfathered, picking it up for a full 22 episode season. 
Gotham has found its Mr Freeze. Nathan Darrow, best known for his role as Capitol Police Detective turned U.S. Secret Service Agent Edward Meechum on Netflix's House Of Cards, has been tapped to play the villain in a recurring role on the second season of Fox's Batman prequel, TVWise has learned. 
ITV Encore's Sean Bean fronted drama series The Frankenstein Chronicles will premiere on Wednesday November 11th at 10pm, it has been announced. 
CBS has handed out a full season order to freshman family comedy Life In Pieces, TVWise has learned. With the back-nine order, the series will now produce a twenty-two episode first season. 
BBC Two has released the first trailer for their upcoming espionage drama London Spy starring Ben Whishaw (James Bond), which is set to premiere on Monday November 9th at 9pm. 
HBO is doing a u-turn. After initially renewing the series for a 10 episode second season back in July, the premium cable network has opted to cancel their Jack Black fronted comedy series The Brink, TVWise has confirmed.
