E4 Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘A To Z’

A To ZNBC's short-lived comedy series A To Z will receive its UK premiere on E4 on Monday November 30th at 7:30pm and will then continue to air on weekdays in the same time-slot, it has been announced.

Sky Atlantic Expands HBO Output Deal Across European Markets

Sky AtlanticSky is expanding their relationship with HBO. The satcaster has agreed a new pan-European output deal, which makes Sky Atlantic the exclusive home of HBO content in Germany, Austria and Italy through to 2020. Sky Atlantic in the UK & Ireland was already covered by the output deal extension agreed last year, which included a co-production element, and also runs until 2020.

Maria Friedman (The Woman in White, Chicago) and Mel Giedroyc (Sadie J, The Great British Bake Off) have landed co-starring roles opposite lead Kara Tointon in ITV's live production based on the original musical, which is set to air this Christmas.

E4 Acquires UK Rights To Short-Lived NBC Comedy Series ‘A To Z’

EXCLUSIVE: NBC's short-lived comedy A To Z is coming to the UK. E4 has acquired the UK rights to the 13 episode series starring Cristin Milioti and Ben Feldman after striking a deal with international distributor Warner Bros. International Television Distribution, TVWise has learned. The show's first season is expected to premiere on E4 later this month.

Sky’s Jon Mountague Named Head Of Comedy, Adam MacDonald Adds Sky Living To Remit

He succeeds Lucy Lumsden, who stepped down as Sky's Head of Comedy in September. Elsewhere, Sky1 Director Adam MacDonald is getting an expanded brief as part of an executive restructure following Stuary Murphy's exit and will now add responsibility for Pick and Sky Living to his remit.
