FX’s ‘The Bastard Executioner’ Cancelled After One Season
Series creator Kurt Sutter and FX are closing the book on The Bastard Executioner. The period drama, which was shot on location in Wales, has been cancelled after one ten episode season, TVWise has confirmed. 
Netflix UK has announced that the thirteen episode second season of Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul will premiere on Tuesday February 16th, less than 24 hours after the U.S. broadcast on AMC. New episodes will continue to be made available to Netflix UK subscribers every Tuesday, through to the season two finale in May. 
HBO is staying in business with Nic Pizzolatto. The premium cable network has inked a new overall deal with the True Detective creator which will keep him based at HBO through to at least 2018. This marks the third such overall deal they have agreed with Pizzolatto, after signing similar such deals with the writer/producer in 2012 (to land True Detective in the first place) and then again in 2014, ahead of the season two renewal.
HBO today released the first image for their upcoming comedy series Divorce, which hails from Dead Boss creator Sharon Horgan and is being fronted by former Sex And The City star Sarah Jessica Parker.
Channel 4 has given the green-light to Born To Kill, a four-part psychological drama from Line Of Duty indie World Productions, Silent Witness scribe Tracey Malone and television newcomer Kate Ashfield, TVWise has learned.
E4's long-gestating sci-fi drama Tripped will premiere on Tuesday December 8th at 10pm, it has been announced.
